Apparently its impossible to understand what this is. I made it.

Clock Hands

This is an experimental song I wrote using GarageBand.
Sound effects, such as the clock ticking, I downloaded off either SoundSnap.com or Freesound.org, and the rest I created using synthesizers in GarageBand with the notation feature. The alarm clock sound at the end was recorded by me, and it's the very same noise that bothers me every morning (when I remember to turn it on).

Old Drawings

I rediscovered a few of my old sketchbooks and found these which I thought were worth posting. Sorry for the faded color, my scanner doesn't pick pencil up well. The first picture was drawn while looking at a painting.

The Boy of the Big Shoes, Chapter Four

“Insert what. Hrrrrrm.” He of the large shoes paced back on fourth. He had been thinking in front of that door some ten hours, and was starting to get bored. “Insert the key, of course.” Said someone behind him. He spun around on his heel to see who was talking. It was an old man, wearing a blue hat, a black coat, and neatly polished shoes. “What key, you of the blue hat, black coat, and neatly polished shoes?” The old man shrugged. “Oh, one that sort if is like this,” He pulled out a piece of paper, with a rough sketch of a somewhat bent piece of metal. “Had it in my workshop for years, I did.” He of the big shoes nodded, urging him on. “Till one day, not too long ago mind you, I found it gone. Snatched right of my table.” He of the blue hat, black coat, and neatly polished shoes scratched his head. “Actually I think you took it.” C.K.

The Boy of the Big Shoes, Chapter three

Chapter three The boy of the large shoes walked by the wall of the great castle, fingering his paper holder. It was a great castle indeed, with ten moats, one-hundred walls (or so they say, no one’s ever actually counted them), a kitchen one hundred meters long (no one’s measured this, since no one’s ever actually been in the castle), and the throne room of made of solid gold. Anyways, he was walking past the hundredth wall while he saw a gate in the castle wall, well more of a door, one would say. Anyways he stopped to examine this particular door. It was a small door, made of some sort of wood, very old by now. One could still see the intricate carving in the wood if one looked closely, which, by the way, was the royal crest. It also had a small gold handle, with one small red jewel hammered into the center of it. Below the handle was a small keyhole. Below the keyhole was written, “Ye who is bored, insert here above here.” --C.K.

The Boy of the Big Shoes, Chapter Two

Chapter two “Its just too... big.” The head metal maker said, with a hand on his hat, which, by the way, was one of the biggest ones in the town, and he was very proud of. “But, just see, its not quite all as big as that!” He of the big hat was already shaking his head. “No no, you can't read the page, you see. It may keep the pages together, but they aren’t readable, ye of the giant foot-covering. It would be too much metal to use anyway.” He waved his hand over the pieces of paper with a huge metal clamp holding all the pages in a grip of iron. The boy of the big shoes face lit up in a frown, balanced on one foot, and hopped out of the room, yelling happily, “Ah yes! So it is too big! Hee hee! Bye!” --C. K.

We're slacking off...

Have you guys noticed that we are steadily posting less and less?
February: 36 posts
March: 19 posts
April: 17 posts
May (so far): 3 posts

Yikes. We need to think of more things to post! Maybe we should have an on-going story on here or something. I don't know. Anything to get us posting more steadily. I just hate to think of the blog wasting away...not that it really matters. I'm just sort of rambling aren't I? I'll stop.

The Boy of the Big Shoes

Chapter one Once there was a land, where, at first there was perfect order. Then, with the invention of paper, disaster struck. At schools, all of the students would hand in their assignments nice and neat, and then would get all mixed up, with everyones papers. So in schools most everyone got an F on each thing they handed in. In parliament, when ever somebody submitted a bill, the same thing happened. They all got mixed up. Then one day a boy had an idea. An idea to stop the madness.

The rising sun

I watch the sun rising over the sea. It’s beautiful, one of the things I love in life. One thing that I like to wake up early for. I think it wakes up early to see me, too. Ah, I guess I must get back to life.
