The Issue With Corners

Just around the corner there is something I cannot see—because it's around the corner. It's silent. All I can distinguish is the shadow, and it makes me more scared than I ever have been before. I don't know what shines the light. But I can tell that something blocks it. I'm not going to get up and look around.

  3. I love this! It's sort of like poetic prose--has a pattern but no definite meter or anything. Good observation: it's the stuff of humans to be more terrified of what they cannot see....Ooohh, I feel a Batman quote coming! "Men fear most what they cannot see." Sorry, couldn't resist. :P
Glad you're posting again, chap! :D
