Finally figured out how to texture a board. :D But yeah, hope you enjoy!
Okay so everything is really there and I actually modeled it, the waves and the mountains, the sky background is just a sky texture imported as a plane.
My older brother told me I should say all the stuff about the modeling and stuff, because he thought I just stuck the bridge on the ocean, hope that clears things up lol.

AWESOME! I love it. It's so realistic! KEEP GOING!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I might add something like a barrel. its a little boring besides that.
ReplyDeleteI dunno. I like the simplicity.
ReplyDeletePrecisely! It makes it feel more bleak and gloomy. :D
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why my picture is just an exclamation point. I think maybe I deleted it, LOL. So, I guess I do have some idea. :P
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL! The second I saw this, I set it as my desktop background. It's a wonderful scene filled with beauty and sadness. Makes me want to cry just staring at it. So you actually MADE that? You MADE the pier??? It looks REAL! I showed it to my family, and they were saying, "You mean it's NOT a picture??" :P LOL
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish ye could do more of this stuff! *********!
--Dalu--
LOL, you set it as your desktop background?! :D
ReplyDeleteYes I did make the pier. lol :) I think I could have made it look a BIT more real though, I used rather low-res textures.
Thanks for the encouragement! ;)
I'm thinking about making a whole village sort of like lake town (or whatever) from the hobbit in blender. :D

Yes, it does look like a photo!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cool idea Todd. A lake town would be awesome. I basically like anything with water involved!

:D

Bootsie,
ReplyDeleteYup, surely did! I was mighty proud o' it!
You could have made it more real? WOW! That doesn't seem real, no pun intended. :P
Oh, you've simply GOT to do that! I just came to Laketown (for the eleventh time) in The Hobbit yesterday, as a matter of fact. I'd love to see a realistic rendition of it! Keep up the good stuff, chap!
