Dusty Ol' Render

This is my first Blend, and probably the last for a while. :D
I actually made this along time ago, using Blender 2.5 Beta. Huh.

  3. I'm amazed that you can remember what I created a few months ago. :P ;)

  4. Ben, my boy, you are going to HAVE to tell me what this thing is. :P LOL From my own un-creative perspective, I see two globes, very large wrinkled green leaves, and two different forms of pain reliever tablets. :P LOL! NOW, what is it, really? :P
Awww, ye ought to make more! :D

  5. Linnette,
Don't despair! I don't have much to say to my brother, myself in comments. I can just say it to his face. :P LOL

    1. Dalu,

You can, or can't just say it to his face? :P

  6. I'm a bit confused on this one as well, although it looks cool. What exactly is it? Is it abstract?

  7. Dalu and Walker,
(Wow your photo is strange Dalu! LOL)
LOL, honestly, all I did create random shapes, modeled them a little, chose some material settings, and hit render. Then I editing the effects on the image and that was all. I probably spent an hour on it and have totally no idea what it is. :D AND IT'S NOT UP FOR THE VIEWER TO DECIDED WHAT IT IS, EITHER!!! XD Mwa ha ha haa!!!
Yeah, I guess you could say it's abstract, though. (UGH! THE VIEWER DECIDED FOR ME! LOL jk about being angry (duh).)

  8. Ben,
*bows* Thankee very much, sir! Scare and I tried to make it strange. That's Icarax and Teridax, pretending to be the humble, pious leaders of the Makuta that they are certainly NOT. Oh, btw, Scare and I just discovered IWarp on GIMP, so I might be producing some pretty distorted pictures on my blog You might especially see them on Wooken's blog. :P We have had a BLAST. XD
An HOUR for that? My, it must be pretty hard to get used to. Or maybe you just made it sound so easy. :P It's not up to us? FINE! BE THAT WAY! :P LOL JK!
    A green frog?....Hmmm...I give up. :P

  9. Dalu,
LOL, but aren't Icarax and the other guy Bionicle? XD
Oh, okay! LOL, I'll have to see them, then. :D LOL, if I know what you're talking about, I think my Mac has something like that, except you can use it with the built in camera to do real time with that distort feature and many others. XD
LOL, for me I had already picked up enough from Todd/Bootsie to get me going for my first time at least. So actually it was that easy. :)
Yup. I'm a little green froggy, tall and thin. :D

  10. Ben,
LOL, yeah, but we stopped actually 'playing' with our Bionicles a few years ago (that is, moving them a lot or excessively smashing them into each other and probably breaking things), so our next option was to act out their expressions on our faces. So, that's what you see: our facial impressions of Ick and Teri. :P
Real time? Is that like a lot of pictures put together to make a film? I got my IWarp from GIMP. There's an option for doing some sort of film thing which name escapes me, but I haven't explored it yet. Ye chaps have GIMP, right, or am I thinking of someone else? :P
Oh, well, lucky ye! It's always nice when a sibling gets good in something and then teaches you all the tricks of the trade. I don't know how many hours Scare has saved me by doing that. :P LOL
AHHHGGH! I can't figure out who it is! I can't think of anything else but Kermit, but you said it wasn't him. I give up! :P LOL
